We are looking for a Provider Growth Associate - Talent Acquisition to join our Clinical Operations team.

Meru Health (named after the documentary Meru) is looking for our first Provider Growth Associate to start a new team. The Provider Growth team has a current goal of hiring 10+ therapists along with other clinical roles each month for the rest of 2024. If you like the thrill of a challenge, please keep reading.

We are looking for someone who's truly passionate about identifying and bringing on the best Therapists so people receive the highest quality care, as well as creating new systems and workflows to streamline onboarding.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Full-Cycle Recruiting: Helping us find and hire a minimum of 10 therapists a month via sourcing to managing outreach, scheduling interviews, and pre-closing candidates (experience recruiting in the mental health field preferred)
  • High-Volume Recruiting/ Time Management & Prioritization: Helping us close 10+ various open roles monthly
  • Marketing: Writing effective and high-trafficked blurbs for social media platforms and identifying the appropriate job boards for specific roles
  • Strategic & High Impact Thinking: Creating creative sourcing strategies and outreach material where you are reaching out to 100+ leads weekly
  • Communicating: Managing verbal and written correspondence with 100+ people weekly
  • Connecting: Genuinely connecting with therapists and all other prospective leads for all of our open clinical roles
  • Educating: Your approach to selling is one of education; you enjoy educating people to help them understand WHY and HOW they’d benefit from an opportunity so they can make the best informed decision
  • Being a Team Player: Making decisions based on what’s best for the team
  • Being Solutions Oriented: Being challenged with an issue and taking the initiative to solve it
  • Having an Engineering Mind: You enjoy data analytics and are very much metrics driven


What you will need to be successful as our first Provider Growth Associate:

  • Full Cycle Recruiting. 2+ years experience of full-cycle recruiting from sourcing to outreach, pre-closing, scheduling, and closing (experience recruiting in the mental health field preferred*) OR 2+ years as an SDR.
  • Passion for making mental healthcare more accessible, holistic and inclusive
  • Compassion, kindness, inclusion, transparency, teamwork and honesty
  • Humility with a competitive spirit and growth mindset
  • Drive and having a desire to continuously learn and grow both personally and professionally
  • Ownership in seeing a need and take initiative (ask for forgiveness, not permission)
  • Integrity where your actions reflect your values regardless of whether there’s an audience
  • The ability to be comfortable in the midst of constant uncertainty, change and potential discomfort and working in an environment that is constantly changing excites you
  • A willingness to risk failing in order to succeed

US TOTAL REWARDS PACKAGE:

We believe in prioritizing our employees' health and well-being, so that they can focus on the good work of helping 10 million people recover from mental health challenges.

  • Pay:
    • Bay Area: $80,000 - $111,375 + Monthly Bonus for Meeting Targets
    • Denver: $67,219 - $82,000 + Monthly Bonus for Meeting Targets

  • Benefits:
    • 100% employer paid Medical, Dental, Vision, & Life Insurance for full-time employees (50% for dependents)
    • Flexible Spending Account and Health Savings Account options available (HSA eligible employees will receive Meru's annual contributions of $1,500 for single enrollees and $3,000 for enrollees with dependents)
    • $400 Wellness reimbursement
    • Full access to our 12 week Meru Health digital mental health program for yourself + 2 family members or friends

  • Paid Time Off:
    • 15 US holidays annually
    • 20 days vacation your first year of employment, then 25 days vacation thereafter
    • 8 weeks of parental leave for all new parents and an additional 8 weeks for new birthing parents
    • Up to 4 weeks off to grieve a family member's passing
    • Birthday off
    • Day of Service to participate in any activities that elevate marginalized communities

  • Hybrid Work Benefits:
    • 3 days in San Mateo, CA OR Denver, CO Office
    • Internet & phone expense reimbursement
    • $250 Onboarding Home Office stipend
