As a Google Sales Specialist, you’ll be responsible for providing pre-sales technical support and guidance to the sales organization/advisors/clients in support of the AppSmart Cloud Technologies, including Networking, Servers and Storage. This position will maintain industry standard certifications and provide basic level technical assistance, including qualifying opportunities, training advisors on these services and other technical renderings. This position will also be responsible to generate sales campaigns around the services to help our Advisors increase their revenues.
What you’ll do at AppSmart:
Must obtain baseline certifications, Vendor specialization and Advanced level Industry standard certifications within a specific technology or Cloud platform.
Consults with our channel sales managers, advisors and external clients in assessing needs and providing technical support on basic server, storage, networking, and cloud technology requests via email and via conference calls while maintaining a high level of customer service.
Build the business, by assisting on proposals, SOWs and RFPs.
Share your expertise with the world by doing blog posts, webinars, or presenting at conferences.
Deliver operational rigor on all opportunities to achieve success for all teammates.
Provide guidance for our internal go to market strategies and our customers cloud strategies.
What you’ll need to join AppSmart:
Minimum of bachelor’s degree in the field of Information Technology and 5-8 years on the job experience or outside experience in similar field; or equivalent combination of experience and education.
3+ years in selling Google Services.
Basic level of understanding in cloud and data center technologies.
Professionalism and solid phone and presentation skills are a must.
Ability to effectively communicate/sell across various audiences; sales, marketing, vendors, clients, consultants, (internal and external).
Must have experience with Cloud technologies.
