About you

As the NOC Product Manager at AppDirect, you harmonize technical know-how with strategic foresight, driving the NOC product line with a keen eye on market trends and user insights. Your collaboration with cross-functional teams ensures top-notch product development and continuous improvement. You excel in communicating complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders, ensuring alignment and compliance with industry standards. Your leadership not only propels product innovation but also guarantees quality, security, and a competitive edge in the market.

What you’ll do and how you’ll have an impact

  • Craft and communicate a compelling product strategy for the NOC line, aligning with company objectives and market dynamics.
  • Engage in thorough market research to guide product enhancements, and maintain a dynamic product roadmap reflecting short and long-term goals.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to gather, prioritize requirements, and ensure product alignment with best practices in network and cybersecurity.
  • Lead project management for product development, maintaining user focus and managing vendor relationships for optimal resource integration.
  • Uphold stringent quality standards, leveraging data to inform decisions and ensure regulatory compliance across all product aspects.
  • Foster clear, impactful communication with stakeholders, driving continuous product improvement and adeptly managing change and risk.
  • Oversee financial aspects, including cost analysis and lifecycle margin assurance, while documenting essential operational and sales processes.
  • Own and refine the product catalog, ensuring seamless collaboration across business units and proactive management of technological advancements and market shifts.

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager, preferably in network and infrastructure management, and/or managed NOC/SOC services.
  • Profound grasp of networking principles/protocols, IT infrastructure, and cybersecurity to safeguard networks and data.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field coupled with proven product management experience, ideally in network and infrastructure domains.
  • Strong project management capabilities, adept problem-solving, and excellent communication skills.
  • Data-driven approach to decision-making with a thorough understanding of industry standards and regulations like GDPR.
  • Experience in vendor management and possession of relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Certified Scrum Product Owner), an asset.
