Recently acquired by AppDirect, the Firstbase team empowers the hardware lifecycle management and hardware purchase offering on the AppDirect Marketplace. The team is focused on building interactions between AppDirect and Firstbase while maintaining and growing Firstbase's existing user base and product offerings.

About You

We're looking for a detail-oriented professional with proven success in IT Refurbishment, warehouse operations, electronics handling, and inventory management. In this role, you'll perform technical warehouse operations, maintain inventory control systems, and ensure proper device handling and deployment to meet customer needs. Your technical expertise and commitment to operational excellence will help us maintain our high service standards.

What you’ll do and how you’ll have an impact

  • Wipe, reset, and restore returned devices to factory “Out-of-Box Experience” (OOBE) standards while adhering to strict data security protocols.
  • Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and quality assurance testing to ensure full hardware and software functionality.
  • Handle new and used devices according to technical specifications, including proper storage, handling, and pre-grading for redeployment.
  • Track, document, and audit inventory movements using warehouse management systems and specialized software.
  • Process return orders by client and return type, routing devices to the appropriate work areas (fulfillment, damaged, locked, or ITAD).
  • Monitor equipment condition, report maintenance needs, and provide technical support for warehouse operations.
  • Collaborate with imaging and quality teams to prepare devices for shipment.
  • Maintain accurate digital records, follow evolving protocols, and meet physical demands, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.

What we're looking for:

  • 2-3 years of warehouse operations experience
    Demonstrated proficiency in warehouse management systems and electronic device handling
  • Experience in electronic device handling and quality control procedures
  • Proven ability to maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and technical problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills and schedule flexibility required
  • Forklift certification preferred
