Who We Are

We’re a team of immigrants and experts who have struggled with our own journeys through the complex, high-stakes U.S. immigration system. That is why we are building deeply customer-centric products and experiences to become the default trusted partner for all families and businesses. We are the largest player in the family immigration industry, and a high-growth challenger serving corporate clients. Across both consumer and business segments, we’ve aided over 100,000 individuals in their quest for U.S. residency.

We're backed by influential venture investors around the country, including Foundry Group (led by Brad Feld), Trilogy Equity Partners, Pioneer Square Labs, Emerson Collective (Laurene Powell Jobs’ foundation), Two Sigma Ventures, and Jerry Yang.

Today, we are a dynamic growth-stage technology company with 350+ employees across the U.S. and Philippines. We are growing both organically and through strategic acquisitions. We are well-capitalized and positioned for long-term success.

About This Role

Our Business Operations & Analytics team answers our most complex questions about our operations, our products, and our customers. Team members are embedded in various sub-functions, are experts in our data stack, and wield a wide variety of analytical tools to surface insights and answer questions. They also project manage cross-functional execution in certain areas. Team members spend most time with our growth leads (B2B Sales, B2C Sales, Product, Marketing), as well as our Customer Success leads.

Our Director and leader of this team is a new role and vital partner to members of our leadership team. They own our data vision, build towards it, and champion data-driven decision-making across the organization. They should be able to operate within constraints and understand which tools to apply to various problems. They will become an expert on our data, our customers and our product; they will build intuition about what we should work on next and influence our direction and success as a company.

About You

Successful candidates will have a minimum of 6 years of experience working on complex business problems in analytical roles. They should be familiar with a wide range of analytics tools we might use to solve problems, including SQL, Tableau, Heap, R/Python, and Excel, and be experts in at least 2 of these tools. They should be curious and analytical, but also collaborative – cross-functional partnership and stakeholder communication is crucial to success in this role. They will be able to flex between shaping the overall strategy and architecture and building the queries and dashboards to guide day-to-day operations. Finally, they should be excited about coaching team members.

Experience working at a tech company, familiarity with SaaS KPIs, and experience with consumer sales and marketing KPIs will make you especially successful in this role.

We are looking for candidates with a history of delivering meaningful business impact, who are excited about applying prior learnings and an “Own It” attitude at a dynamic, mission-driven, and scaling company with multiple business lines and products.

  • Distill complex analysis into clear insights and communicate them effectively to influence decisions across the company
  • Build and evolve dashboards for execution leads to enable continuous KPI monitoring

  • Iterate on and stand up new business operations processes to solve bottlenecks and data visibility gaps
  • Work with our product and engineering leaders to develop and iterate on a data infrastructure vision that supports our accounting, finance, insights and analytics goals; iterate as we acquire companies and grow into new brands or product categories
