JumpCloud is looking for a passionate and driven Entry-Level Software Engineer to join our team, focusing on Software Management. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to launch their career and make a significant impact on a product used by millions of users worldwide.

As an Engineer at JumpCloud, you’ll be at the heart of our mission to simplify IT and security for organizations everywhere. You’ll work alongside a team of experienced engineers, contributing to the development and enhancement of our Software Management features. This includes everything from developing new features that help administrators easily deploy and update software, to ensuring the scalability and reliability of our services.

What you’ll be doing:

Building user-friendly experiences: You’ll contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from designing and coding new features to ensuring they are easy for our customers to use.
Collaborating with your team: You’ll work closely with other engineers, product managers, and designers to bring new features to life. We believe in the power of collaboration and communication to build the best products.
Solving complex problems: You’ll tackle challenging technical problems related to software deployment, package management, and system performance. You’ll be encouraged to think creatively and find innovative solutions.
Learning and growing: We are committed to your professional development. You'll have the opportunity to learn from seasoned engineers, work with a modern tech stack, and continuously expand your skills.

What we’re looking for:

A recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Strong foundational knowledge of software development principles, data structures, and algorithms.
Experience with at least one programming language such as Go, C++, Rust, Python, Java, or JavaScript.
A passion for technology and a desire to learn new things. We value curiosity and a drive to solve problems.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the approximate annual compensation range for this role, depending on individual candidate level and experience, is $85,000 - $105,000, including base salary and any related bonuses or commissions.

Where you’ll be working/Location:

This role is hybrid in United States of America. You must be located in and authorized to work in the United States of America to be considered for this role.

This hybrid role is based in the Denver / Boulder metro area. You will be required to work onsite in our Louisville, Colorado office. You will be expected to be in office five (5) days a week during the first two weeks of onboarding, possibly up to the first month. Once onboarding is completed, you will be expected to work from the office periodically, at least one day a month (subject to performance).

Language:

JumpCloud® has teams in 15+ countries around the world and conducts our internal business in English. The interview and any additional screening process will take place primarily in English.
