What You'll Do

  • Create research strategies that prioritize between competing business needs.

  • Define research questions with participants and stakeholders and guide them through the research experience.

  • Recruit participants and execute on research plans using the most suitable tools and mixed methods for specific research projects.

  • Synthesize qualitative research with quantitative data to influence product strategy.

  • Communicate findings through using stories, frameworks and other communication styles to inspire businesspeople, designers, engineers and other stakeholders.

  • Be a central resource for tactical research, playing a supporting advisory role and evangelizing user research in the organization.

  • Effectively communicate research findings to diverse audiences.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence product decisions based on user research findings.

  • Other duties as assigned.

What We Believe are Important Traits for This Role

  • Bachelor’s degree in survey research, statistics, design strategy or related field and 4 years of experience in a user research position OR Master’s degree in survey research, statistics, design strategy or related field and 2 years of experience in a user research position.

Qualified candidate must also demonstrate at least 2 years of experience with each of the following:

  • Using a range of research methodologies.

  • User research methods, tools, and best practices and applying these techniques to data-driven decision intelligence products.

  • Synthesizing complex data and distilling it into actionable insights.

  • Research across full product life-cycle.

This role is 100% remote; may be performed from anywhere in the US and up to 10% domestic travel.

Our annual base compensation for this role ranges from $139,825 - $189,175 for most US locations and 5% to 10% higher for US locations with a higher cost of labor. Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process (including skills and prior relevant experience, potential impact, and scope of role), market demands, and specific work location.
