Nift is disrupting performance marketing, delivering millions of new customers to brands every month, and we are actively looking for an Executive Assistant to join our team. We are a well-managed, data-driven, cash-flow-positive company with a customer-first mindset. Nift has been profitable for 3 years, achieving 100% YoY growth each year, and we will never need another round of funding. Our investors include those behind Fitbit, Warby Parker, Wayfair, and Twitter. This is a remote to Boston, MA position that will be critical to the continued success of Nift.
The Role:
We are seeking a highly organized Executive Assistant to function as a business partner with our CEO, VP of Business Development, and Chief of Staff (“the team”). The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience, with at least 2 of them supporting a CEO, GM, or SVP at a technology startup or VC firm. In addition to traditional EA responsibilities, this role involves establishing / managing relationships with partners, DTC brands, board members and investors to build an executive network on behalf of the team. The successful candidate should have high EQ skills, outstanding interpersonal skills, strong at reading / evaluating people and how to leverage their connections.
What You'll Do
- Ensure specified team members dedicate the proper amount of time to networking each week/month/quarter
- Engage with existing partners and conduct outreach to prospective new partners
- Help establish and manage people networks. Build and maintain relationships with a list of targeted contacts (might grow to 1K+), provide regular updates to the team on the number of meetings that have taken place each week/month/quarter
- Interact regularly and build relationships with executives across all the teams at Nift
- Identify ways executives can use their time better, and things you can take off their plate
- Prepare reports and presentations by gathering insights, data, research, and information to inform decision-making.
- Establish efficient communication channels between the CEO and leadership team to ensure smooth and accurate information flow.
- Lead the content flow for monthly, quarterly, and annual company meetings, as well as board meetings
- Screen, prioritize, reply and manage the team's emails, ensuring important matters are addressed promptly.
- Proactively manage the team’s schedules, meetings, travel arrangements, and prioritize their appointments / activities.
- Help to coordinate / organize professional events, speaking engagements, trade shows, conferences, business dinners / socials, and company off-sites
How You’ll Be Measured
- Success will be measured by outcomes, OKRs, quality, velocity, volume of outreach and a specified number of meetings that took place each quarter for each specified team member
- Increase efficiency of each executive staff team member by freeing up their time
What You Need
- BS/BA degree (preferred) or equivalent years of experience
- Minimum of 4 years of post-college work experience, at least 2 years as an Executive Assistant supporting a CEO or executive team member at a tech startup or VC firm
- Proven track record of influencing executives and others
- Incredibly proactive, ability to take initiative, operate autonomously to get answers, context, and the data to solve problems
- Excellent EQ, interpersonal and relationship-building skills, empathetic
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, follow through skills, meet deadlines, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive things to completion
- High level of drive, a self-starter
- High level of professionalism, discretion, integrity, and confidentiality
- Strong scheduling / coordination skills, adaptable, flexible with last-minute changes
- Ability to work independently and thrives under pressure in a quickly changing environment
- A positive attitude / outlook has a optimistic approach to work and life
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in productivity processes & tools (i.e. G suite, email Stack Method)
- Strong preference for candidates located within a 75-mile radius of Boston, MA
