ON A TYPICAL DAY YOU’LL
Provide day-to-day system administration (e.g. user management, security, etc.), as well as leverage Salesforce functionality to meet business needs and solve user requests (e.g. flows, validation rules, management of third party applications)
Maintain and update various Salesforce applications that have been implemented across our organization (e.g. Sitetracker, Zaapit, RollupHelper) and provide technical recommendations when selecting, evaluating, and implementing future Salesforce-based tools.
Create and maintain documentation of Salesforce schema and automations, as well as data movement between Salesforce and other internal systems (including their origin/destination and methods/technical dependencies)
Serve as Pilot’s Salesforce subject matter expert by defining systematic processes; designing workflows and automations; managing field dependencies and schema; developing disaster-recovery plans; enforcing system security; and implementing platform updates, improvements, and best practices.
Demonstrate Salesforce subject matter expertise in discussions with technical and operational teams around business needs, seeking to understand the problem and proposing optimal Salesforce solutions.
Review the system on an appropriate cadence to evaluate outdated processes, fields and design elements.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
8+ years of Salesforce experience, with 5+ years of experience as Salesforce Administrator
Subject matter expertise with the Salesforce platform, encapsulating both the ability to build complex automations, as well as hands-on experience administering managed packages, evaluating and implementing Salesforce updates, and an understanding of a broad range of Salesforce platform components
Experience managing and improving a mature Salesforce implementation and an understanding of data flows into and out of Salesforce from other production platforms
Demonstrated ability to understand and work with existing business processes, custom objects, and automations. Proven track record using technical solutions to improve business workflows and goals
Effective communicator with a desire to work closely with stakeholders across the Organization
Demonstrated ability to formulate, communicate, and execute on a vision to take advantage of new features and capabilities within the platform and advise management of new opportunities
Ability to meet deadlines, organize and prioritize requests from multiple teams/stakeholders across various channels, and effectively communicate updates
Extensive experience with Salesforce Flow, including creating and managing Record-Triggered Flows, Screen Flows, Scheduled Flows, and Platform Event-triggered Flows. Comfortable with automating processes, data validation, and error handling
Advanced knowledge of Salesforce security model, including profiles, roles, permission sets, sharing rules, and field-level security
Salesforce Administrator certification strongly preferred, Advanced Administrator (or working towards Advanced Administrator) is a plus
Experience with the SiteTracker project management platform is a plus
PILOT’S PAY & PERKS
Base salary of $110,000 - 130,000
