What You Will Do:

• Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins.
• Implement best practices in WordPress development and ensure code quality.
• Collaborate with design and content teams to implement website features and enhancements.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues related to WordPress websites.
• Optimize website performance, security, and scalability.
• Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends and technologies.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers in WordPress development.

Other Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other designers to create visually compelling and user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications.
• Conduct user research, create user personas, and define user flows and wireframes to inform design decisions.
• Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI component libraries to ensure consistency across products and platforms.
• Create high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and design specs using design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.
• Conduct usability testing and user feedback sessions to validate designs and iterate on feedback.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in UX/UI design and incorporate them into design solutions.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that designs are implemented accurately and consistently throughout the development process.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
• Advocate for user-centered design principles and communicate design decisions to stakeholders and team members.

About You:

• Extensive experience in WordPress development, including custom themes and plugin development.
• Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Expertise in using WordPress APIs, hooks, and filters.
• Familiarity with popular WordPress plugins and frameworks.
• Understanding of website performance optimization techniques.
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex WordPress issues.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to lead and mentor junior developers.
• Passion for keeping up with the latest WordPress trends and technologies.

What You Bring:

• Proven track record of delivering high-quality WordPress solutions.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge of front-end frameworks like React or Vue.js is a plus.
• Understanding of database management and optimization.
• Familiarity with web server configurations and hosting environments.
• Experience with website security best practices.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on delivering pixel-perfect websites.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
