Senior Software Engineer (Fullstack)
Snappr
Software Engineering
Medellin, Antioquia, Colombia
USD 70k-90k / year + Equity
One thing that sets this team apart: we are fully AI-integrated. That means using Claude, Cursor, Copilot, and whatever else gets the job done, every single day. Not occasionally. Not experimentally. Constantly. We're not looking for AI engineers, but we are looking for engineers who have genuinely changed how they work because of these tools and aren't going back.
Snappr is building the most high-caliber engineering team in Colombia, and this is your chance to join it. We are actively looking for this role across Colombia.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end feature implementation across the full stack.
- Design, implement, and interpret A/B tests to drive product decisions.
- Optimize and scale app performance across backend and frontend.
- Work closely with designers and product leadership to bring designs to life.
- Use AI tools and agents as force multipliers — you're as comfortable orchestrating AI to ship faster as you are writing the code yourself.
- Help build an engineering culture rooted in rapid iteration and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Strong core computer science fundamentals — data structures, algorithms, systems thinking. A CS or engineering degree is a plus, but not required; what matters is how you think and build.
- 5+ years of experience building and shipping real products.
- Fluency in at least one backend and one frontend stack; experience across TypeScript, Python, Node, with React, or similar is a strong signal.
- Experience with relational databases, SQL, DevOps, and cloud platforms.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools to build and ship — you've moved beyond prompting and into orchestrating AI as part of your actual development workflow.
- Excellent English communication skills and experience collaborating with English-speaking teams.
