Location: Aldwych, London WC2B
Salary: £70,000 - £73,000 + Bonus
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Accelerator Program Associate to join our team in London. This pivotal role involves managing the operations of our Accelerator program, ensuring the smooth execution of the Techstars playbook, and delivering exceptional experiences for founders, mentors, partners, investors, and other stakeholders.
As the Accelerator Program Associate, you will oversee the entire accelerator cycle, from pre-program preparations and founder onboarding to the 13-week program and culminating Demo Day. Your responsibilities will include utilizing tools and developing processes for program data management, scheduling the 3-month program calendar, coordinating logistics and events, and executing Demo Day.
This role offers the opportunity to collaborate across the Techstars network, engage in cross-functional projects, focus on professional development, and work with colleagues globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to develop and execute the program plan, including Demo Day.
- Ensure adherence to best practices and the Techstars playbook content and curriculum.
- Deliver a top-tier accelerator experience for all stakeholders.
- Manage all logistics, operations, administration, scheduling, calendar management, and event planning for the program.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with mentors, investors, alumni, and internal partners.
- Work with the Global Mentor team to facilitate effective matchmaking between founders and mentors, both globally and at the program level.
- Partner with the Platform Team to host community events and represent Techstars at local ecosystem events.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Extensive experience in operations, event planning, and project management.
- Preferably familiar with the early-stage venture-backed ecosystem.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments and with diverse audiences.
- High level of accountability and ability to ensure accountability in others.
- Strong planning and prioritization skills to meet program and organizational goals.
- Adaptability to different situations, styles, and stakeholders.
- Commitment to continuous process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Ability to anticipate the needs and requests of multiple stakeholders.
- Keen interest in technology, startups, entrepreneurship, and venture capital discourse.
