About the Job

As the Sales Trainer for Vendasta, you will architect a high-impact training environment that equips our sales teams with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel. Your mission includes imparting a deep understanding of our products, sales processes, and systems. Acting as both a facilitator and consultant, you will take a consultative approach to understanding business needs, designing, and delivering innovative, high-quality learning programs that yield measurable results. Your emphasis on a holistic learning approach will shape a culture of continuous learning, ensuring our salesforce excels in both product knowledge and effective sales techniques.

Your Impact

As a Sales Trainer, you'll work with cross-functional teams, and internal stakeholders, to:

  • Identify organizational needs and develop a comprehensive training strategy.
  • Align employee development and manager effectiveness programs with Vendasta’s product and market strategy.
  • Create a roadmap for ongoing training initiatives to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop a high-level training curriculum that aligns with organizational goals.
  • Apply application-based learning strategies to enhance practical knowledge.
  • Conduct regular coaching sessions to improve sales skills and performance.
  • Develop and deliver modules focused on general sales skills, including communication and negotiation strategies.
  • Provide comprehensive training on product positioning, upselling, and cross-selling techniques.
  • Ensure a strong understanding and effective use of Vendasta's tools to enhance selling effectiveness.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Passionate about technical and procedural knowledge of sales roles.
  • Experienced in making feedback-based and data-driven learning recommendations.
  • Ability to swiftly execute learning priorities through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record in designing and delivering targeted training programs to enhance team knowledge and skills.
  • Deep understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and training tools.
  • Knowledge of Vendasta’s products, services, and market positioning.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Capability to adapt training programs based on evolving business needs and feedback.
  • Competence in creating engaging and impactful training materials.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in sales training, learning and development, or a related field, preferably within a SaaS or technology environment.
