About the Job:
The Senior Manager, Content Services is responsible for overseeing Vendasta’s Content Creation, Blog & Website Copywriting, SEO Content, and Social Media Fulfillment teams within the Marketing & Professional Services division. You will ensure the efficient execution of content-related services while delivering exceptional quality and value to Vendasta’s partners and their clients.
As a strategic thinker and strong leader, you will drive team development, optimize operational efficiencies, and foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and partners to refine service offerings and expand content solutions, ensuring Vendasta remains a leader in marketing and content services.
Your Impact:
Content Strategy & Execution:
- Oversee the execution of high-quality, scalable content services that align with client business objectives and market trends.
- Ensure fulfillment teams deliver SEO-optimized, engaging, and conversion-driven content for websites, blogs, and social media.
- Develop and maintain a content strategy that enhances partner retention and SMB success.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align content services with Vendasta’s technology, marketing strategies, and AI-driven solutions.
Customer-Centric Content Fulfillment:
- Optimize content production workflows to meet customer deadlines, maintain quality standards, and maximize efficiency.
- Resolve escalated content-related customer concerns and proactively enhance service fulfillment processes.
- Support the Sales team (BDRs & SDRs) by providing expertise on content solutions, helping craft proposals, and addressing client needs.
- Drive initiatives to improve customer satisfaction, engagement, and retention through impactful content solutions.
Team Development & Performance Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop Content Fulfillment Managers and their teams, ensuring a high-performance culture.
- Oversee hiring, onboarding, and professional development, fostering expertise in digital marketing, copywriting, and content fulfillment best practices.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, coaching sessions, and performance reviews to ensure continuous team growth.
- Champion the adoption of AI and automation tools to optimize content fulfillment workflows.
Content Operations & Process Optimization:
- Identify inefficiencies in content fulfillment workflows and implement scalable, technology-driven solutions.
- Leverage AI-driven tools, automation, and analytics to improve content production speed, accuracy, and customization.
- Track and analyze KPI performance across content services, identifying trends to drive strategic decisions.
What you bring to the table:
- Deep understanding of content marketing, SEO, social media strategy, and digital copywriting best practices.
- Experience in managing content production workflows, AI-assisted content tools, and editorial processes at scale.
- Knowledge of budget management, cost control, and financial analysis specific to content services.
- Ability to track, analyze, and improve KPIs related to content engagement, fulfillment efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Strong leadership abilities to coach, mentor, and develop Fulfillment Managers and team members, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Ability to set a vision, align it with company objectives, and create actionable plans for long-term success.
- Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and performance measurement to drive strategic decision-making.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement and team collaboration.
- Capacity to identify inefficiencies, streamline workflows, and implement scalable content solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to address challenges quickly and effectively while keeping both business and customer needs in mind.
- Adaptability to evolving industry trends, technology advancements, and customer expectations.
- Passion for customer-centric service delivery, prioritizing client needs in all decisions.
- 3+ years of experience in content marketing, digital marketing, or a related field, preferably in a SaaS or technology-driven environment.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field)
