About the Job
As a Sales Engineer at Vendasta, you’ll play a critical role in bridging technical insights with go-to-market execution. You’ll partner with Sales, Product, and Revenue Operations to design scalable platform solutions, deliver compelling product demos, and build tools that empower our teams to sell with speed and precision. This role is equal parts pre-sales strategy, AI-driven solution design, and operational support—focused on streamlining the buying journey and enhancing pipeline performance.
Your Impact
As a Sales Engineer, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to:
- Partner with Sales teams to scope technical needs and design scalable platform configurations
- Participate in discovery calls, deliver tailored product demos, and develop proposals and supporting assets
- Leverage AI-enhanced tools to automate documentation, proposals, and qualification steps
- Build and maintain demo environments, objection-handling libraries, and prompt templates
- Support Revenue Operations by identifying sales motion trends and building dashboards or tools to improve cycle velocity and forecasting
- Align with Product and Marketing teams to relay technical feedback and assist in roadmap planning
- Train internal teams on platform features, AI capabilities, and best practices for technical discovery
What You Bring to the Table
- 3–5 years of experience in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Consultant, or Revenue Enablement role, ideally in B2B SaaS
- Strong understanding of SaaS platforms, with the ability to design and communicate technical solutions in business terms
- Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Clari) and analytics platforms
- Experience using AI tools like ChatGPT, Jasper, or similar for proposal generation and enablement automation
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with confidence delivering demos to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to manage multiple requests and priorities in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment
- Experience supporting direct or channel sales teams across multiple verticals is an asset
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred
