Product Manager
Chennai, India

Are you driven by the challenge of building AI-powered products that are reliable, scalable, and deliver real customer value?
Do you get satisfaction from spotting unmet needs, connecting insights across teams, and turning them into impactful product outcomes?
We’re looking for a Product Manager who thrives at the intersection of customer needs, data, and technology to build products that help businesses grow.

About the Job:

We are seeking a motivated and innovative Product Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing the product vision and strategy for a defined area of the Vendasta platform that empowers our channel partners and the small-to-medium-sized businesses (SMBs) they serve. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including engineering, design, marketing, and customer success to deliver AI-powered solutions that align with business goals and create measurable impact for our customers.

The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in product management and delivery, with hands-on experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager working on API-driven products or integrations. Experience with CRM systems, B2B SaaS platforms, or SMB ecosystems is a strong plus. If you enjoy working at the intersection of platform technology, integrations, and customer needs, and are excited to build and evolve AI-enabled APIs and integrations, we’d love to hear from you.

Your Impact:

As a Product Manager at Vendasta, you will help accelerate partner and SMB success by executing API- and integration-focused initiatives that make the platform easier to integrate with and extend. You will own a defined area of the Vendasta platform and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable integrations. Specifically, you will:

  • Own and deliver integrations across the SMB ecosystem, with a focus on enabling AI-powered workflows.
  • Partner with engineering to define what capabilities to expose via APIs and gRPC gateways, balancing usability, security, and long-term platform integrity.
  • Drive improvements to the developer portal and overall developer experience, including documentation, onboarding, and usability.
  • Deliver and evolve enterprise integrations in collaboration with customers and internal teams.
  • Help make the Vendasta platform more integratable by design, improving consistency, reliability, and reuse across integration surfaces.
  • Use analytics and feedback to measure adoption, reliability, and integration success, and iterate on improvements.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, sales, and customer success to define requirements, align priorities, and support adoption.
  • Act as a platform subject matter expert, advocating for customer and partner needs while aligning stakeholders around clear product outcomes.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • 3–5 years of experience as a Product Manager, including hands-on experience as a Product Owner owning backlog, requirements, and delivery.
  • Strong working knowledge of Agile/Scrum practices, backlog management, and sprint planning.
  • Experience using product and customer analytics to inform prioritization and product decisions.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS; exposure to CRM, sales, or marketing platforms is a strong asset.
  • Strong empathy for users and curiosity to understand customer workflows and pain points, especially in SMB and partner-driven environments.
  • Technical fluency with API-driven products and integrations, enabling effective collaboration with engineering (deep architectural expertise not required).
  • Working knowledge of AI-enabled product development, with familiarity or exposure to concepts such as Model Context Protocol (MCP).
  • Comfort using AI copilots and productivity tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Notion AI, Jira AI, Google Gemini, Looker AI).
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
