We’re looking for a Manager, Finance who is energized by serving as a strategic financial leader, driving Vendasta’s financial planning, operations, and reporting to support the company’s continued growth and innovation and excited to contribute to AI-powered features that enhance our platform. In this role, you’ll play a key part in helping small and medium-sized businesses succeed—while shaping the future of AI for local economies.

Your Impact

As a Manager, Finance, you'll work with engineering teams, QA, and product managers to:

• Oversee all financial functions, including Procurement, Financial Planning & Analysis, Treasury, and Mergers and Acquisitions, while providing key insights to the Executive team and Board of Directors
• Scale the organization’s financial infrastructure, ensure fiscal responsibility, and support the preparation of the company for potential public or private growth initiatives
• Support the finance function’s AI strategy—adopting advanced tools for forecasting, compliance monitoring, scenario planning, and financial reporting automation
• Develop and maintain a best-in-class procurement function, including policy development, establishing efficient tools, and implementing processes to govern and monitor the company’s entire expenditure profile (excluding people costs)
• Oversee the strategic procurement lifecycle, designing governance, implementing controls, and optimizing vendor spend cash-flow targets
• Partner with the CFO to lead annual and quarterly planning cycles, ensuring budgets are optimized for divisional growth
• Architect AI-forward financial workflows, utilizing automated forecasting and anomaly detection to enhance decision-making speed
• Develop and maintain treasury policies and procedures that protect the businesses’ assets, mitigate risk to the Board’s tolerance, and support appropriate liquidity and operational efficiency
• Support capital structure and allocation, fundraising efforts, and strategic capital deployment to support business objectives and runway planning
• Support banking relationships, investor communications, and reporting for board members and shareholders
• Partner with the CFO and Executive team to develop and execute the company’s financial strategy, ensuring alignment with Vendasta’s growth objectives
• Provide financial insights and analysis to guide business decisions, investments, and risk management
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes to drive financial health and operational efficiency
• Leverage AI-driven financial modeling and predictive analytics to inform strategic decisions and improve forecasting accuracy
• Oversee financial systems, software, and automation initiatives to scale finance operations effectively, including evaluation and implementation of AI-based planning and reporting tools
• Drive financial readiness for M&A opportunities, business integrations, and strategic investments, including developing an acquisition playbook
• Optimize cash flow, working capital, and capital structure to support corporate expansion
• Lead financial due diligence, integration, and reporting for acquisitions, incorporating AI into risk assessments and valuation modeling

What You Bring to the Table:

• 5+ years of progressive financial experience, preferably in high-growth technology or SaaS companies
• CPA, CFA or MBA designation with strong expertise in FP&A, Treasury and M&A
• Experience managing financial software and ERP systems (Netsuite, SAP, Dynamics)
• Proven ability to scale finance operations in a company with >$25M revenue and >300 employees
• Expertise in M&A, business integrations, and financial due diligence
• Experience in managing complex vendor ecosystems and high-stakes contract negotiations
• Experience defining or leading AI adoption for financial modeling, automation, or predictive analysis
• Strong knowledge of IFRS
• Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and execution
• Experience in enterprise ERPs (NetSuite), modern FinOps tools, and Google Workspace
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written and verbal formats.
