About the job:
The mission of the GTM Engineer is to build and orchestrate the technical infrastructure that powers the revenue engine, moving beyond manual processes to focus on automation and scalability. This role exists to serve as a technical force multiplier, ensuring that revenue scales through sophisticated systems and AI-integrated workflows rather than manual toil. Success requires a builder mindset and deep platform knowledge, enabling the delivery of seamless lead-to-partner flows and automated sales processes.
Your Impact:
- Architect and maintain the connected tissue of the GTM stack, including CRM, Marketing Automation, and Billing systems.
- Own the backend logic for lead routing, scoring, and enrichment to ensure data flows seamlessly without human intervention.
- Serve as the technical liaison between Revenue and R&D to integrate product usage signals directly into sales workflows.
- Maintain data hygiene and attribution models in collaboration with the Data/Reporting team to ensure a single source of truth.
- Identify manual roadblocks in the sales cycle and develop automation to remove friction and reduce repetitive tasks.
- Build internal agentic systems, such as automated "Next Best Action" engines, to enhance representative productivity.
- Leverage AI-assisted tools to analyze trends and build predictive models for pipeline forecasting and deal risk scoring.
- Implement automated triggers for lifecycle events, including expansion, churn signals, and renewal workflows.
What you bring to the table:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Computer Science, Commerce, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Engineering, or a related field, preferably within a SaaS or technology environment.
- Platform Expertise: Deep knowledge of CRM ecosystems (Salesforce or HubSpot) and the Vendasta platform, particularly CRM and automations.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, and automation tools (e.g., Zapier, Workato); SQL and Looker knowledge is highly preferred.
- AI Literacy: Ability to assess and integrate AI solutions into day-to-day responsibilities and build prompt libraries for sales workflows.
- Communication: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written and verbal formats
