We are looking for a Commercial Marketing Manager who is a highly analytical, collaborative, self-starter to join the DTC team at WHOOP.
The Commercial Marketing Manager, will play a pivotal role in driving our global Direct-to-Consumer business, overseeing our online sales strategy and operations. This role involves managing all aspects of our DTC eCommerce function, including; sales forecasting, investment planning, marketing approach & analysis and leading promotional campaigns.
This is a 12-month contract position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • DTC Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive e-commerce strategy to enhance the online customer experience, increase traffic, and drive sales growth.
  • Forecasting: Establish the daily forecasts for the DTC business working closely with finance, including the forecast breakdown by region & acquisition channel by month.
  • Investment Planning: Collaborate closely with the Paid Media team on investment planning and analyze the impact of spend across channels.
  • Performance Reporting: Collaborate with the analytics team to deliver weekly trading updates and insights to the business and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Marketing: Collaborate with the marketing team to analyze the impact of marketing campaigns on the DTC and ROI for each marketing initiative.
  • Media Affiliates: Drive our media affiliate program opening new acquisition channels at scale.
  • Data Analysis: Monitor and analyze DTC performance metrics, including traffic, conversion rates, sales and customer retention, to make informed decisions and optimize strategies.
  • Sales & Promotions: Lead promotional campaigns to ensure they are effective in supporting business goals by driving new membership sales at key moments. Collaborate cross-functionally to support go-to-market strategies and promotional activities.
  • Cross Functional Collaboration: Work cross functionally with finance, analytics and growth teams in order to meet your objectives.
  • Commercial Innovation: Enhance the commercial performance by analyzing market opportunities and implementing solutions to deliver new demand generation channels.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on e-commerce trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform strategy and identify new growth opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree in Business, Marketing or relevant field required.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing direct-to-consumer (DTC) e-commerce strategies to drive sales growth and enhance customer experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in commercial marketing and the ability to solve problems independently.
  • Ability to identify market opportunities and implement creative solutions to enhance commercial performance and open new revenue streams.
  • Strong team player with the ability to support cross-functional initiatives.
  • Ability to convey complex issues in a simple and clear manner.
  • Continuously seeks innovative new approaches to enhance work processes and outcomes.
