Job Summary

Infleqtion UK is looking for a full-time Accounts Assistant to join our fast-growing team located in central Oxford. ColdQuanta UK is a wholly-owned subsidiary of ColdQuanta, Inc. headquartered in Boulder/Louisville, Colorado. ColdQuanta leads the market in commercialising quantum atomics, the next wave of the information age. Our Quantum Core™ technology uses ultra-cold atoms cooled to a temperature of nearly absolute zero using lasers to manipulate and control the atoms with extreme precision. Job Responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities outlined below include essential functions of the role. Depending on business needs, this role may perform a combination of some or all of the following duties. • Checking incoming and outgoing payments for accuracy
• Compiling reports on sales, expenditure, marketing and other accounting activity for senior management
• Managing incoming post and ensuring that queries are allocated to the correct department
• Dealing with incoming invoices
• Creating and maintaining spreadsheets
• Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies
• Create and update expense reports
• Process reimbursement forms
• Prepare bank deposits
• Enter financial transactions into internal databases
• Maintain digital and physical financial records
• Issue invoices to customers and external partners, as needed
• Review and file payroll documents
• Participate in quarterly and annual audits
• Using accounting software
  
  

Requirements

• BSc/Ba in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
• Qualified candidates must have permission to work in the UK and be able to travel to the US and throughout Europe as needed
• Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
• Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• A thorough approach to tackling problems and the ability to work methodically
• Time management and the ability to prioritise their workload and meet deadlines
• The ability to work as part of a team
• Meticulous attention to detail
• An interest in and understanding of business and finance
