Location
This position is a full-time, hybrid-based position which will be located in our Boulder and/or Louisville, CO offices.
Job Responsibilities And Summary
The duties and responsibilities outlined below include essential functions of the role. Depending on business needs, this role may perform a combination of some or all of the following duties. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.
The newly hired Interns will support R&D projects tied to their relevant background and needs of the organization. Interns selected for interviews will be asked to apply to opportunities aligned to their background and once posted. The internship will last 8-12 weeks beginning in May/June 2024 and through end of summer.

The targeted hourly rate for this is $35.00 to $40.00 depending on experience plus overtime pay (if approved in advance).

Requirements
- Recent college master/PhD graduates who are pursuing a career in physics, quantum, mathematics, software development, engineering, and similar tracks OR Masters/PhD candidates/students pursuing an advanced degree
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 and strong technical background is required
- Ability to work onsite vs remote (although some hybrid work is likely)
- Demonstrated ability to learn new and complex topics quickly
- Demonstrated ability to work and communicate with all various levels of an organization; Professional-level communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to work comfortably in a highly collaborative, cross-functional, team-oriented, and matrixed environment
- Desire and demonstrated ability to thrive and produce results in a fluid, dynamic, and fast-paced environment
- Passion for solving complex problems and challenges in a highly technical and scientific environment
- Resourceful problem-solver with “eagle eye” attention to detail
- This role requires that you do not require sponsorship or a work visa transfer
