Location

This position is a full-time, hybrid position which will be located in our Austin, Texas office.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, the Director of Product Marketing position plays a critical role in driving market awareness, engagement, and demand generation for the company's quantum software, hardware, and data platforms. The new director will have the opportunity to take a leadership role, work collaboratively with our Product, Business Development, Corporate Marketing, Executive, and Engineering teams to drive the execution of our go-to-market strategy. The ideal candidate is a creative, self-motivated, and talented marketer, looking to apply and build their skills in an exciting, fast-growing deep-tech company.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute go-to-market programs, including messaging, positioning, and product launch strategies, to drive awareness, education, engagement, and demand for our products
  • Translate product capabilities and features into clear value propositions that resonate with target markets and end-users
  • Develop and execute strategies for identifying the most impactful marketing channels, including digital marketing, partner marketing, and conferences, to reach target audiences and generate demand
  • Develop and manage the creation of marketing content, creative assets, and materials across the full range of marketing channels to support Infleqtion's product portfolio, including thought leadership content, blog posts, industry reports, and webinars, to establish Infleqtion as a leader in the quantum technology market
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, pain points, and trends, and use that information to inform product marketing plans, messaging, and positioning
  • Conduct ongoing competitive analysis and provide assessments of competitor positioning, messaging, and presence to ensure that Infleqtion remains at the forefront of the market
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Business Development, Corporate Marketing, Executive, and Engineering teams, to ensure that marketing plans align with business objectives
  • Develop sales enablement tools such as presentations, case studies, and white papers, to support the sales team and drive revenue growth
  • Manage relationships with external partners and vendors to support marketing initiatives and ensure that Infleqtion has access to the best resources and expertise
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics, such as customer acquisition costs, customer lifetime value, and conversion rates, to measure the effectiveness of marketing programs and make recommendations for improvements

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Bachelor's degree (engineering, physics, computer science or similar fields would be a strong plus)
  • 5+ years’ experience in product marketing or related discipline, with a track record of success in high-tech B2B marketing roles; Experience with marketing hardware products is required
  • Very strong technical skills with proven ability to develop a deep understanding of complex technology and products
  • Experience in marketing emerging technologies (e.g. AI, ML, High-Performance Computing) and crisply communicating complex scientific and technological concepts to a highly technical audience
  • Experience with atomic clocks or PNT (positioning, navigation and timing) systems is highly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to translate technical concepts and capabilities into highly compelling business value propositions for partners and customers
  • Startup mentality: smart, self-starter, proactive, and a can-do cross-functional team player
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Entrepreneurial drive, intellectual agility, and personal eagerness to develop with the needs of the business
  • Self-motivated, energetic individuals with strong problem-solving and technical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new and complex topics quickly; Passion for solving complex problems and challenges in a highly technical and scientific environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work comfortably in a highly collaborative, cross-functional, team-oriented, and matrixed environment
  • Desire and demonstrated ability to thrive and produce results in a fluid, dynamic, and fast-paced environment
  • Ability to travel domestically and (potentially) internationally up to 20%
  • This role requires that you do not require sponsorship or a work visa transfer

Benefits

The targeted salary range for this role is $150,000 to $200,000 on an annualized basis plus eligibility to participate in our annual incentive plan.
